The search is over! Groundwork Cincinnati and the Mill Creek Watershed Council of Communities have hired a new joint Executive Director! David has years of experience in ecological remediation and conservation and a broad understanding of local and national environmental laws and regulations. All that knowledge, paired with his experience with non-profit work, will be invaluable in leading our organizations over the next several years.

Created in 1994, Groundwork Cincinnati is a community-based, boots-on-the-ground nonprofit with a successful track record. It focuses on youth, environmental education, restoration of the river and its natural resources, transformation of derelict properties, planting trees and edible gardens, building trails, revitalizing Mill Creek neighborhoods, providing a Green Jobs site, and engaging the public in all of its work.
In 2011, the nonprofit changed its name from the Mill Creek Restoration Project to Groundwork Cincinnati - Mill Creek. In partnership with the National Park Service, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Groundwork USA, Groundwork Cincinnati works with other Groundwork trusts in cities across the nation to engage inner-city residents in urban transformation.
